The Trifecta of chocolate, pecans, and bourbon! This easy and delicious pie will be a winner at your next Kentucky Derby party! The bourbon adds such a richness and complements the dark chocolate perfectly! If you decide to forgo the bourbon, it will still be delicious! It’ll be like a chocolate chip cookie, in pie form!!!! Derby Pie

Ingredients

2 eggs

1 stick butter, melted and cooled

1 cup sugar

1 tsp vanilla

½ cup flour

¼ cup bourbon

1 cup dark chocolate chips

1 cup pecans, chopped

1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell

Directions

Preheat oven to 325°. In large bowl, beat eggs, butter, sugar, vanilla, and flour together until creamy.

Add bourbon, chocolate chips, and pecans, mix well. Pour mixture into pie shell.
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cool before serving.
