The easiest appetizer you’ll ever make, this warm baked brie with honey and sliced almonds is a crowd favorite and takes just minutes to make. The honey makes it sweet enough for the kids to enjoy, yet sophisticated enough for adults to enjoy with a glass of wine. Perfect for The AristoCats movie night!
Honey Almond Baked Brie
1 8 ounce round brie cheese
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup raw sliced almonds
table water crackers or sliced baguette to serve
Preheat oven to 350°F. Using a sharp knife, score top rind of cheese in a crisscross pattern.
Place brie on a rimmed baking dish, I used a pie plate. Bake until top is soft and runny, about 20 minutes. Remove brie from oven. Top with honey and sprinkle with almonds. Let rest 5 minutes, then serve.
