Ingredients

1 tube Pillsbury thin crust refrigerated pizza dough
1 cup pizza sauce, extra for dipping
desired pizza toppings
8oz Italian cheese
1 egg, beaten
2 Tbsp parmesan cheese

Directions

Preheat oven to 400°. Place piece of parchment paper on large baking sheet. Roll the dough out and stretch it out on parchment paper. Spread the pizza sauce leaving about 2 inches from the edge. Top with desired pizza toppings, we used pepperoni and cooked bacon.

Carefully roll up the long edge of your Stromboli. Roll it tightly so that it stays together. Seal the seam with wet fingertips, then roll over the stromboli so that the seam is facing down. Seal the ends with wet fingers, folding the dough underneath if there is extra. Brush with the egg and cut small slats in the top. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown on top. Cut into 1 inch slices. Serve with warm pizza sauce.
