Oh Mickey, you’re so… yummy?

One of my friends gave us a Mickey Gummy Maker recently and we haven’t been able to stop making them since. I tried the recipe that came with the box and it had the consistency on bathroom caulk. Ick. With some trial and error, I made my own version that’s softer AND healthier, NO artificial coloring or flavoring!

You don’t even have to use the gummy maker to make them, all you need is a shallow silicone mold. Click here for the link to the Mickey Gummy Maker in my Amazon Storefront. What flavor juice will you try first? Our favorite flavor so far is cranberry!

Homemade Gummies - A Magical Kingdom called Home

Homemade Mickey Gummies

  • Servings: about 50 gummies
  • Difficulty: easy
  • Print

Ingredients

1 cup fruit juice

2 Tablespoon sugar

2 packets unflavored gelatin

Directions

Pour half of the juice and sugar into a small saucepan and heat until simmering. Mix gelatin simmering juice to the gelatin mixture and stir until the gelatin is dissolved. I like to skim the bubbles off the top with a spoon to make the gummies clearer, but you do not have to do this.

Fill the silicone molds with the liquid using a spoon or dropper. Refrigerate for one hour or until set. Remove the bears from the molds. Makes about 50 gummies. Store in air tight container in fridge for up to 2 weeks.
