Hey Y’all! Like you, I’ve been trying to keep busy at home while keeping the kids entertained. One of the most magical ways we’ve been having fun is coloring! I’m so thankful to the small shops and bloggers who have shared their artwork in forms of coloring pages since the sheltering in place started. Not only do the kids love it, but I find painting/coloring them so relaxing!
The fridge was running out of room so we turned some of their masterpieces into puzzles! It’s so simple and easy to make. You probably already have the materials you need laying around the house. But first, I want to give the creators of the coloring pages that we used a shout out!

Spot of Disney: Sarah is one of the sweetest ladies I’ve met in the IG Disney community. She has an eye for color and has a way of adding it (and a bit of magic) into her daily life. Her coloring pages are magical and some of my kids favorites.

To create your own puzzle, you will need:
•Cereal Box
•Coloring Pages, already painted or colored
•Scissors
•Craft Knife
•Cutting Mat
•Craft Glue
•Small Paint Brush
Using scissors, cut the front and backs of the cereal box apart. So you have two long, straight pieces of cardboard.
Paint craft glue on front of cereal box, then place coloring page on top. Try to press out bubbles and seams to edges. Allow to dry for an hour or so. You might want to place a heavy object on top so the puzzle doesn’t curl from the glue.
After the glue dries, use a craft knife to cut off excess box pieces and trim edges. Then cut larger puzzle pieces for younger children and small puzzle pieces for older children. I drew a few familiar shapes and worked by way around them.
The puzzles should be very durable and will be able to use multiple times. I like to keep ours in reusable baggies.
